Hidden among lush greenery, Avli tis Nefelis is a peaceful garden coffee shop created in memory of our grandmother, Nefeli, who once lived in a tiny house in the middle of this enchanting garden.
Over the years, the garden slowly became the coffee shop it is today while preserving the warmth, simplicity, and authenticity we grew up with.
Stone paths, tables beneath lemon and fig trees, mismatched colourful wooden chairs, traditional desserts, Cypriot coffee, rounds of backgammon, and slow afternoons shared between generations keep alive the feeling of an old Cypriot kafeneio — a welcoming place where people of all ages can gather and feel at home.

Though we are right in the city center, you instantly feel the cozy warmth of a traditional village that feels just like grandmother's garden. We carefully recycle our paper, glass, plastic, and food waste to reduce landfill disposal.
A timed irrigation system built from recycled materials minimizes our water needs.
Instead of buying new things, we repair and fix up old furniture to give it a second life.
We plant endemic plants to provide a safe, natural habitat for pollinators.
We turn organic waste from peelings and leftover coffee grounds into rich compost to feed our garden naturally.
We grow our own herbs, fruits, and vegetables right here in the garden to make our signature tea blends, fresh lemonades, fruit syrups, and juices.
